



The Leyenda Foundation Announces Ambitious 2025–26 Guest Artist Season
Oklahoma City, OK — August 25, 2025 — The Leyenda Foundation, a national leader in guitar education and performance, proudly announces an extraordinary season of guest artists for 2025–26. Bringing together internationally renowned performers and visionary educators, the Foundation continues its mission of building a community where artistry and education thrive side by side.

This season’s lineup features a remarkable breadth of voices:
Richard Smith (Fingerstyle Guitar) — Legendary fingerstyle guitarist whose dazzling versatility spans classical, folk, and jazz traditions. His concert will take place on Friday, September 12, 2025 7pm Bishop Angie W Smith Chapel
Kostis Zachariadis (Guitar) — Internationally recognized guitarist bringing global perspectives to the stage. His concert will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
Collin Holloway (Guitar) — A rising talent and educator whose artistry is shaping the next generation of guitar performance. His concert will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
Laura Snowden (Guitar) — One of the most imaginative guitarists of her generation, celebrated for her poetic artistry and international acclaim. Her concert is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
Alex Komodore (Guitar) — Esteemed professor and acclaimed soloist with decades of artistic leadership. He will serve as Guest Artist-in-Residence on Wednesday–Thursday, March 25–26, 2026.
Matthew Cochran (Guitar) — Known for his wide-ranging performances and innovative teaching, Cochran bridges classical traditions with new creative horizons. His concert is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
Additional artists and dates will be announced throughout the season, underscoring the Foundation’s commitment to presenting a wide range of voices from across the guitar world.
A Season of Collaboration and Education
Each guest artist will not only perform but also engage in masterclasses, residencies, and workshops with students and the broader community.
