Leyenda Spark
An exciting new initiative from the Leyenda Foundation, Leyenda Spark is designed to introduce pre-college students to great artists and great art in an inspiring, approachable way.
While not as intensive as our full fellowship program, Spark still offers students meaningful musical experiences—at no cost. Participants will receive private lessons, participate in ensemble coaching, and enjoy performance opportunities, all within a supportive and enriching environment.
Instruction is led by Leyenda Fellows: a diverse group of dedicated young musicians, including current students at top universities and conservatories as well as emerging professionals already working in the music industry. These fellows bring both skill and passion to their teaching, serving as approachable mentors and role models.
Students will also have the rare opportunity to connect with and learn from legendary artists like Pepe Romero, Celino Romero, Lito Romero, Mark Whitfield, and John Knowles, gaining direct insight and inspiration from masters of the craft.
